Camille and Andrew became engaged during a visit to Vancouver, where Camille grew up. The couple went for a walk around Camille’s old neighbourhood, Yaletown, when it started pouring rain–hard. “I turned around, and the next thing I knew, Andrew was on one knee proposing,” Camille recalls.

When it came to planning the decor, the couple only had two requirements: For there to be lavender, and chill, happy vibes. “Lavender smells so lovely, but it also served as a tribute to my mother, who loved the flowers,” Camille shares. “Our venue, The Burroughes, was the perfect place to hold the relaxed, contemporary celebration we were envisioning–especially its cool rooftop patio.”
