A Rustic Woodland Wedding in Wolfville, Nova Scotia - Bride and Groom

Mark originally wanted to propose to Sarah at Point Pleasant Park where the couple often walk their dog. However, his plan was spoiled when it rained. Not wanting to wait another day, Mark decided to propose while he and Sarah decorated their Christmas tree. “He was pretending to do a terrible job at putting the ornaments on the tree so that I would do it and he would pass them to me,” Sarah remembers. “After decorating for a few minutes, he asked, ‘Is there room for this one?’ I turned around and he was on one knee with the ring!”

For their wedding, Mark and Sarah chose a rustic woodland theme reminiscent of their respective childhoods in Nova Scotia
