Sareh Nouri Spring 2019 Wedding Dresses

Inspired by Swan Lake, designer Sareh Nouri’s collection for spring 2019 is a lyrical interplay of opulence (shown through richly textured lace) and strength (as reflected in the lines and draping of traditional mikado, faille, and crepe fabrics), much like the dance genre itself. The lightness and movement the collection’s hero gown, named Odette after the ballet’s White Swan princess gives it an almost musical quality: Constructed from a peachy beige taffeta that seems to glow in the sunlight, the strapless gown features a dramatic high-low skirt, which is given a unique structure with vertical pleating that transforms in a deliberately crunched up, crumpled texture around the hem.

Softly draped bows, climbing vine motifs and crystals sewn in split concentric circles that glitter like tiny stars
